I run myself too, and the first 2 sessions I really didn't enjoyed it that much, because I was dead tired after running, but at the 3th session I started to love it! You can really notice difference in how long you can run and that's a great motivation!
I run 3 times a week, and I use a scheme, which is special for beginners like me XD.

In 10 weeks I am supposed to run 5km straight :)
